The Four Immeasurables teachings will take place in June 2008 in Duncan, Victoria, and Nanaimo.

Text Box: Join Ngakpa Kalzang for an exploration of Buddhist insight practice and mind training. Recognize and develop the love, compassion, joy, and equanimity that are a source of peace within yourself and all others. Engaging with these Four Immeasurables can lead to freedom of mind and body, as well as an increased capacity to benefit others.

Victoria classes will be held Thursdays in June at the Queenswood Centre, 2494 Arbutus Rd, from 7 to 8:30 pm.

Nanaimo classes will be held Wednesdays in June at Kin Hut, 2730 Departure Bay Rd from 7 to 8:30 pm.

Duncan classes will be on Sundays as per the regular schedule.

Dzogchen Ngondro Retreat, August 1st to 7th, 2008

This retreat will focus on deepening insight in the foundational practices of Vajrayana Buddhism. Retreatants will engage in the Ngondro practices which are the preliminary practices that guide that deeper exploration. Also, each evening participants can join Ngakpa Kalzang in the chanting of melodious and meaningful Chod verses, a practice dedicated to cutting through delusions towards wisdom.

The retreat will take place at the Hermitage on Denman Island.
